Although enameled cast iron can occasionally be put in the dishwasher, hand washing is recommended to preserve the shine of the enamel and the durability of the knobs. Use a soft sponge, warm water, and a little dish soap. For stubborn stains, soak with baking soda, or boil with white vinegar.
