Terms and Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between Mamie Cocottes / SARL DLM and any customer making a purchase via the website www.mamiecocottes.com. Any order implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Products

Mamie Cocottes sells frying pans, cast iron casserole dishes, kitchen accessories and more broadly, all products related to the culinary world.

The products offered are available in stock, unless otherwise stated.In the case of pre-order, this information is clearly stated on the product page.
The photographs and descriptions are for guidance only and not contractually binding.

3. Orders

No minimum purchase amount is required.

An order is considered final once it has been processed by our team.
The customer receives:

  • a confirmation email once payment has been validated,

  • a second email containing the tracking number when the order is dispatched.

4. Prices and VAT

Prices are displayed in euros, including all taxes (VAT included).
For deliveries outside the European Union, VAT is not applicable.
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout, according to several criteria: delivery country, weight, volume, order amount, etc.

5. Payment

The accepted payment methods are those offered by Shopify Payments, namely:
AMEX, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, debit card… as well as PayPal.
Pay in 4 instalments is also available depending on the options offered to the customer at checkout.

Payment is taken immediately. All transactions are secured via Shopify Payments.

6. Delivery

Delivery zones

We deliver to France, Europe, United Kingdom, Canada and United States.
For any other destination, a specific request can be made to our customer service.

Shipping times

Orders are dispatched from Monday to Saturday.
Processing is completed within 24 working hours, with a slightly extended timeframe during peak periods.

Carriers

  • DPD for home deliveries (France, Europe, United Kingdom)

  • Mondial Relay for collection point deliveries

  • FedEx for international deliveries

Delivery charges

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless specific conditions are stated at the time of order.

Undelivered / Uncollected parcels

If you are absent at the time of home delivery, the parcel will be left at a collection point. If the customer does not collect their parcel within the allotted time (varies depending on the carrier), it will be returned to us.

In this case:

  • The customer may request a refund, with shipping and return costs deducted.

  • They may also request a reshipment, after contacting our customer service team.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

The customer has a statutory period of 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal.
Returns must be subject to prior contact with our customer service team (see contact details below).

The products must be:

  • unused, not washed

  • returned in their original packaging

  • accompanied by the order number

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of a faulty item or an error on our part.
Returns that do not meet these conditions or are made without prior notification will not be processed.

Refunds are made:

  • to the original payment method, or

  • as a credit note (at the customer’s choice)

We also offer an exchange, subject to availability.

8. Warranty

Our products are covered by a 1-year guarantee against manufacturing defects and hidden faults.
This warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear from use,

  • misuse, impacts, overheating,

  • intentional or unintentional damage.

9. Liability

Mamie Cocottes cannot be held liable for:

  • in the event of incorrect or incomplete delivery address,

  • an order error attributable to the customer (size, model, colour, etc.),

  • in the event of force majeure (strike, natural disaster, interruption of transport services, etc.).

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the website www.mamiecocottes.com (texts, images, logos, layouts, graphic charter, etc.) is protected under the Intellectual Property Code.

Any reproduction or use, even partial, without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

11. Applicable Law and Disputes

These general terms and conditions are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to contact our customer service to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, only the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
