The Mamie Cocottes limited lifetime commercial warranty covers manufacturing or material defects affecting the product under normal domestic use and in accordance with its intended purpose.

The warranty applies subject to compliance with the product's usage, care, and storage recommendations.

Each warranty claim is reviewed by Mamie Cocottes to determine the nature and origin of the damage and whether it is eligible for coverage.

For any request, proof of purchase as well as photographs of the product may be required.

Mamie Cocottes may also request any information needed to determine the circumstances in which the damage occurred and, when necessary, request the return of the product for inspection.

When a defect is recognized as covered by the commercial warranty, Mamie Cocottes may, depending on the situation and availability:

• repair the product;
• replace the relevant part;
• replace the product with an identical item;
• or, when it is no longer available, offer an equivalent product.

In the case of a set including several products, only the item recognized as defective is covered by the warranty.

Replacement with an identical color cannot be guaranteed when a color is no longer available.

The Mamie Cocottes limited lifetime commercial warranty does not cover, in particular, damage or deterioration resulting from:

• abnormal, abusive, or improper use of the product;
• normal wear and tear or the natural aging of the product;
• failure to follow usage, maintenance, or storage recommendations;
• overheating, including excessive or prolonged heating when empty;
• thermal shock;
• dropping, impact, accident, or improper handling;
• use of unsuitable utensils, cleaning products, or accessories;
• scratches, scuffs, chips, or damage resulting from product use;
• corrosion or rust, particularly due to poor maintenance, damp storage, or prior deterioration of the coating;
• unauthorized modification, repair, or intervention on the product.

Also not covered are purely aesthetic defects that do not affect the normal use of the product, including color variations, surface irregularities, marks, stains, discolorations, cooking marks, micro-scratches, or other aesthetic changes related to artisanal manufacturing, molding, or use of the product.

The warranty does not apply if it appears that the damage originates from an external cause to the product or from use contrary to Mamie Cocottes instructions.

Cast iron and enamel are materials naturally subject to heat-related stresses and their use.

Slight variations in color, texture, thickness, finish, or surface may occur during the manufacturing process and do not necessarily constitute a defect.

Similarly, raw cast iron may naturally develop oxidation when exposed to moisture or insufficiently dried. Such oxidation related to use or maintenance does not constitute a manufacturing defect.

The limited lifetime commercial warranty applies exclusively to enameled cast iron or raw cast iron items.

Items made from other materials, including ceramic, wood, silicone, or other materials, are covered by the applicable legal warranties, including the two-year legal conformity warranty under the conditions provided by current legislation.
